Hello folks, http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~rfaccini/phys/vub/mm2_min/Vub-24jan03.html contains the status of the art in my studies on the control sample. A brief summary is : - mm2 as is does not seem something effective on this control sample - I defined (and committed in VubAnalysis) a Klong discriminant which is quite effects. Urs, can you rerun with this variable in and see the effect of the cut? - the total track energy seems to be the thing which is mostly correlated with our problematic events, at least on the control sample. This is probably a handle for further investigation but not a solution - the Breco quantities seem to be badly reproduced by MC, I still need to figure out how to use this information. ciao ric P.S. note that I have changed the mxhadfit binning to match out resolution and things look tidier
