Hi all, I've finished the last tests that were requested before running the full sys study. I've produced: 1) True KL true energy spectrum: http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~asarti/recoil/devel/KLstu/energyTrueKL.eps 2) True KL calorimeter energy deposit spectrum: http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~asarti/recoil/devel/KLstu/ReleasedEn.eps (I'm redoind ig on the full generic MC sample with a proper X scale :)..) 4) MC energy spectra of KL selected on 'control sample (PRMM2>-3)' with a likelihood cut (likelihood>0), enriched region: http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~asarti/recoil/devel/KLstu/true_vs_all.eps In red are shown the candidates that are TRUE KL (the fraction is decent: the associator and the likelihood method results are in reasonable agreement) 3) Data-MC comparison for TRUE and FAKE MC KL (were true or fake is dictated by the MC associator): true: http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~asarti/recoil/devel/KLstu/trukl/comparison5mxminpileptoncuts.ps fake: http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~asarti/recoil/devel/KLstu/fakekl/comparison5mxminpileptoncuts.ps Given that almost all the KL < 200 MeV are 'FAKE' I have tried to re-estimate the correction that comes from just events with KL > 200 MeV. Data MC comparison is shown in: http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~asarti/recoil/devel/KLstu/CUT/comparison5mxminpileptoncuts.ps and the correction comes out to be ~1 (no correction). In order to be conservative I porpose to use the correction that comes from the study with the full KL sample (correction ~1.22). ***********Implementation************* Now that Urs need to rerun anaQa in order to estimate the sys I propose to add (in the loop that creates the four vectors of neutral particles in 'recoil' subroutine) the following piece of code: if( idGam[i] == 130 ){ energyGam[i] *= (0.274351/0.225545); } just before any manipulation of that quantity.
