Dear Colleagues, The next ALCPG Linear Collider Seminar will be presented today, Thursday, May 8. Matter and Energy, Space and Time: Particle Physics in the 21st Century Jonathan Bagger Johns Hopkins University The Standard Model of particle physics stands as one of the crowning scientific achievements of the twentieth century. Nevertheless, a variety of accumulating evidence points to new questions that must be answered. Many of the questions suggest that new physics awaits discovery at the TeV energy scale. http://bohr.pha.jhu.edu/~bagger/LC.pdf (Available 1:00 pm EDT the day of the talk.) The presentation will take place from Brookhaven in the Small Seminar Room, 4PM EDT. Additional meeting rooms have also been arranged at: Fermilab, WH12NW, 3PM CDT Cornell, Wilson Lab Large Room, 4PM EDT SLAC, Orange Room, 1PM PDT The presentation slides will be posted to the web and the talk will be available both through a phone conference dial-in and VRVS broadcast.
