Dear Colleagues,

The next ALCPG Linear Collider Seminar will be
presented today, Thursday, May 8.

Matter and Energy, Space and Time:
Particle Physics in the 21st Century

Jonathan Bagger
Johns Hopkins University

The Standard Model of particle physics stands as one of the crowning
scientific achievements of the twentieth century. Nevertheless, a
variety of accumulating evidence points to new questions that must be
answered. Many of the questions suggest that new physics awaits
discovery at the TeV energy scale.
