I looked at it in detail again: the file _is_ actually created at the first time but the server receives a stat which fails. Therefore, the client gets some wrong information and it looks like the file creation failed. I would also suggest to add a more detailed help command and an example for the syntax of both, <source> <dest>. It took me quite some time to figure out what the syntax of <dest> is.
