Is anybody using xrootd with a cluster file system as a "disk server". Could you share something of what works and what doesn't work in this environment. If not, does anybody have any insight into the wisdom of attempting this? In some respects it would be nice if more than one xrootd server could serve from the same file system to gain parallelism, but it is far from clear (to me) that this would work properly. -- Gregory J.
