Dear Colleague, We wish to advise you of a requirement for travel to the USA that went into effect October 26 2004. If you are eligible under the visa waiver program, you should have a machine-readable passport (MRP). If you do not have an MRP, you will be allowed entry to the US, but only once. In such cases, there will be paperwork involved which could delay you for 2-4 hours, and a fee of $65 can be charged. Also, please check with your airline about this, as some carriers are refusing customers without MRPs.
