  Hi All, 

  There is now a new (development) xrootd version 20050110-1339. This version
includes:

   o updates for collecting summary statistics
   o configuration updates for Sun CC on opterons, icc on rhel3, ...
   o updates for LP64 compatibility
   o some more updates for async i/o

There was still one outstanding compilation problem on MacOSX in this
version, so the binary tarball for MacOSX is not available this time.

This version is mostly going out for general testing. There is no reason
(for example) to update the BaBar skimming tests to use it. (Staying with
version 20041220-1337 should be fine.) Let us know if there are problems.
