  Hi All, 

  There is now a new development version of xrootd (20050209-0257). It has 
a variety of changes:

   o a new library libXrdPosix.so with a posix-level function interface
     to xrootd, built on top of XrdClient.
   o updates to allow override of internal XrdClient parameters from xrdcp 
     and the perl wrapper
   o various bug fixes
