Hello Pete

I will not be able to attend the meeting because I am traveling to San
Diego today. Stephen is also gone but maybe Akram or Rainer could call
you.

There isn't much news from SLAC. We got the redirectors and a new alias,
bbr-rdr-p, to be used by skimming, but we will wait until next Monday
before we put them into production. At the same time I also would like
to change to a newer xrootd version, hoping that it will fix the
communication problems between redirector and data servers for the
bbrprod cluster.

I started to do some write performance measurement but I need some more
data server to test it with the redirector. I will do this next week (I
will be gone unitl Friday).

Cheers,
   Wilko
