Hi Fulvio, From your logs it seems that you are experiencing the same problem I had a couple of weeks ago (the port number sent by the xrootd data server to the olbd manager had nothing to do with the one expected), finally traced back in a flaw in the way the port number was determined in XrdOfs::ConfigRedir. This was fixed by Andy starting from CVS version 1.10 of src/XrdOfs/XrdOfsConfig.cc, i.e. tag v20050328-0834. So, you may want to try this version or a more recent one to see if it goes away.
