The Large Detector Concept for the International Linear Collider is based on
a large continuous gaseous tracker surrounded by a highly granular
calorimeter. To initiate discussion and work to solidify this concept, a
discussion document has been prepared. The document can be downloaded from
the LDC web site,

If you are interested in participating in the LDC study, please register
yourself at the website. Even if you are already registered with the LDC
mailing list, please register with the new system.

The first general meeting of the LDC group will be held on Friday, May 27 at
