Hello Andy I could not start xrootd as it exits immediately. The log file shows: 050620 14:30:38 001 XrootdConfig: Unable to open config file ÿÛÿÇ0; no such file or directory I traced it down to the line: xrd.protocol xrootd * If this line is commented out xrootd starts up otherwise it fails.
