This probably will be in their 2.1 implementation. But for xrootd/ooss, someone has to implement it in ooss, it's not a pure srm issue. So, with MSS backend, I'd rather implement dummy plugs in place of corresponding calls, at least in initial implementation, since with transparent MSS access it doesn't matter, and user's will not notice anything...
