Hi all,

I made a few plots of the mes distribution to check if the B reco
signal shape is the same for vcb and vub components. This question was
rised in one of the last meetings.

B reco signal (same B mode in truth and reconstruction)

http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~menges/Vub/mes/mes_signal.eps
http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~menges/Vub/mes/mes_signal_log.gif (log scale)
http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~menges/Vub/mes/mes_signal_log.eps (log scale)

B reco background (different B mode in truth and reconstruction)
http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~menges/Vub/mes/mes_background.gif
http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~menges/Vub/mes/mes_background.eps

B reco no truth match (no truth B mode available)
http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~menges/Vub/mes/mes_nomatch.gif
http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~menges/Vub/mes/mes_nomatch.eps

The left plot shows the all events, vcb and vub, the right plot shows vub,
non-resonant and resonant vub.

The conclusion is that vcb and vub components look very similar. Even the
different vub components look the same. Nothing to wory about here.

Cheers,

	Wolfgang
