Vancouver Fellowships - Extended Deadline As previously announced, fellowships will be awarded to partially support travel expenses of young participants for the joint ALCPG/GDE Workshops in Vancouver, July 19-22. See the announcement below. Applicant nominations are to be sent to Dr. Edmond Berger ([log in to unmask]) by June 15. Experimentalists, theorists, and accelerator physicists are all eligible. We anticipate some fellowships to be available beyond the deadline, and will entertain applications through June 22. Materials should be submitted as early as possible. Sincerely, Jim Brau ----------------------------------------------------- Fellowships for the Vancouver Linear Collider Workshop The American Linear Collider Physics Group (ALCPG) expects to award approximately 10 fellowships of $750 each to young researchers based at institutions in North America (non-tenured faculty, research associates or assistants, and graduate students) to participate in the Linear Collider Workshop in Vancouver, Canada, July 19 - 23, 2006. The applicants should ask a senior member of their groups to send a letter of recommendation to Dr. Edmond Berger ([log in to unmask]) by June 15, 2006. It is expected that the applicants will participate for the full duration of the workshop and have sufficient additional funding to cover the remainder of the total cost of workshop participation. _______________________ James E.
