Agenda:
1. DQ2 Status/Web Proxy
Running fine. Problems at Brookhaven. They cannot get the data out
of Tier-2 sites fast enough so they are accumulating a lot of
backup. Kaushik has to stop the production to allow it to catch
up. Although the last couple of days look okay without stopping
production. The bottleneck seems to be with FTS as BNL, don't seem
to be an issue for SLAC. Seems to be related to empty files which
are produced everywhere.
There was a problem with a DBRelease file being transfered after a
job started that needed it (there was an RT ticket opened against
SLAC, RT#1383). This shouldn't have happened as the PANDA pilot
does check this. This caused thirty jobs to fail.
2 Tier-2 Hardware
Not sure where this is just now. Chuck isn't back till the end of
next week.
Last report was that the ATLAS purchase wasn't started yet as we
need to make more power available which means making the Rackable
purchase to do that. Need to make sure we don't sequentialise
everything as lead times can be absorbed.
3. AOB
Need to look at the DQ2 space to clean up "old junk". There are
some duplicated files and only one is in the LRC.
Need to define a policy on how to remove accounts from the GUMS
server. Should be much simpler than regular accounts.
