Hi all. Below is a link to some plots I produced using the Rel-14 VVF and
3pdf model.
http://www.slac.stanford.edu/~clarke1/protected/clarke1/Asym.html

I'm using the Generic MC as "Data".

I look at the Asymmetry and Br(B->X_{u}lnu) (for charged and neutral Bs)
in Run1-2, 3 and 4. As you can see the Asymmetry varies a lot with
increasing q2cut and also Run-by-Run.

Althougth the Asymmetry varies a lot the Br(B->X_{u}lnu)s don't. I think
due to the nature of the Asymmetry equation (see below) small fluctuations
in charged and neutral Br(B->X_{u}lnu)s gives rise to large Asymmetries.

 			Br(B->X_{u}lnu)Neu * rtau - Br(B->X_{u}lnu)Ch
Asymmetry (For MC)= --------------------------------------------------
 			Br(B->X_{u}lnu)Neu * rtau + Br(B->X_{u}lnu)Ch

Br(B->X_{u}lnu)Neu = the  Br(B->X_{u}lnu) for neutral Bs

Br(B->X_{u}lnu)Ch = the Br(B->X_{u}lnu) for charged Bs

rtau = ratio of lifetimes of charged and neutral Bs.

Cheers, C.C.
