Because of the difficulty to find mounting points for a given AFS volume (note a AFS volume can be mounted at multiple directories in AFS tree), we always suggest to create a volume name that reflects the intended mounting point. > > $ cd /afs/slac/g/atlas > > $ fs lq AtlasAnalysis packages c repo releases software > Volume Name Quota Used %Used Partition > g.atlas.d.Analysis 4000000 1739304 43% 59% > g.atlas 500000 392525 79% 60% > g.atlas.sw.blds 4000000 652860 16% 38% > g.atlas.repo 1000000 651 0% 60% > g.atlas.releases 5000 1690 34% 60% > g.atlas 500000 392525 79% 60% > > g.atlas.d.Analysis is mounted at both /afs/slac/g/atlas/AltasAnalysis and /afs/slac/g/atlas/d/AltasAnalysis. g.atlas.sw.blds is mounted at /afs/slac/g/atlas/c.
