Dear Colleagues:

The World Wide Study's Detector Concept Report, which makes the case for the physics and detectors for the ILC, and which serves as the companion volume to the GDE's Reference Design Report, has been in draft form for the past month. Both the Physics and Detector sections of the DCR can be viewed at the following website: http://www.linearcollider.org/wiki/doku.php?d=dcrdet:dcrdet_home . Comments on the first draft, which were solicited when the draft was made public, are being addressed, and a second draft will be issued early in July, in time for the presentation of both the DCR and the RDR to a meeting of the FALC. Final, public versions of the documents are to be released at the Lepton Photon Symposium in August.

We are writing to invite all those who have contributed to or supported physics and detector studies for the linear collider (including those providing technical support), or who have an interest in doing so in the future, to join the author list for the DCR. It is most important for the entire ILC physics and detector community to demonstrate its support and its numbers by signing this document.
We hope you will take the time to sign the document, and will urge your colleagues with similar interests to do the same.

To sign the DCR, simply go to the following website, and follow instructions there:

With best regards,
