pAthena analysis jobs at SLAC now use xlong queue (previously long).
Paul Nilsson restored the function of direct reading from Xrootd server for pAthena analysis. This is needed when user has large input files (both in terms of bytes and number of files). This is now in Panda CVS but not sure if Panda is running it.

items for 4).

1) OSG would like to include xrootd as a storage element in the next (or next next) OSG release. Andy Hanushevsky will work with OSG on this.
2) Andy H, Alex Sim (LBL) and Wei had several discussions with Michael Ernst about SRM (LBL's Bestman-xrootd) for Xrootd. There is a new requirement coming from ATLAS for SRM. Both Alex and Andy think that it is implementable at SRM and xrootd levels. Michael thinks that he will trust WT2's technical judgement and would like to push the combination of Xrootd/XrootdFS/bestman-xrootd to other US T2s (and possibly T3s) that don't have a SRM yet.
