Hi Everyone,

This week we'll meet at 1 PM Eastern on Thursday, Dec. 18, for our weekly LQS
meeting. Dial-in is 510-665-5437, passcode 7336.

The paper for this week is one of the first results from GLAST (now Fermi):
"The Fermi Gamma Ray Space Telescope discovers the Pulsar in the Young
Galactic Supernova-Remnant CTA 1" (http://arxiv.org/abs/). Among other
things, it demonstrates the ability of the Fermi LAT to isolate pulsars
near the noisy galactic plane, and also show Fermi's 30-40x improvement in
spatial resolution over EGRET.

Thanks,
--Ray
