Hi Everyone, This week we meet at *1 PM Eastern*, Thursday, May 14, for the weekly LQS meeting. Dial-in is 510-665-5437, passcode 7336. We'll take round-table reports and then discuss the recent preprint 0905.0101, "Evidence for pi-K atoms with DIRAC", which we did not get to last week. This paper discusses a recent experiment at the CERN PS that finds evidence for pi-K atoms with a lifetime > 0.8 fs at 90% CL. The study can be used to obtain information on the pi-K s-wave scattering amplitude.
