The two perl scripts above are not available in the binary distribution
but only in the src tgz file. You have to look into xrootd/src/XrdMon/ 
after un-tarring the source.
There isn't anything new in the detailed monitoring that the example 
monitoring pages above describes. The latest xrootd version added a 
summary monitoring that is described in
http://xrootd.slac.stanford.edu/doc/cvshead/xrd_monitoring.htm
