Dear Colleagues, The FY 2011 National Science Foundation Budget Request can be found at: http://www.nsf.gov/about/budget/fy2011/toc.jsp Overall, the budget request is up 8.0%, from $6,872.5 million to $7,424.4 million. This is in keeping with the plan to double the NSF's budget. Within the Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MPS) request are: Astronomical Sciences: Up 2.5% from $245.7 million to $251.8 million Physics: Up 2.8% from $290.0 million to $298.2 million Sincerely, Norman Graf
