Follow-up Comment #13, sr #119348 (project xrootd): Following the advice from Fabrizio I investigated the issue further and decided to revert the commit 026247a471fc9f3f9c0d407bb3066218d75fd700 <http://xrootd.cern.ch/cgi-bin/cgit.cgi/xrootd/commit/?id=026247a471fc9f3f9c0d407bb3066218d75fd700> with e45a83917c30fa7cc6a3a68f76d5441cc48bb520 <http://xrootd.cern.ch/cgi-bin/cgit.cgi/xrootd/commit/?id=e45a83917c30fa7cc6a3a68f76d5441cc48bb520>. It turns out that the client already handles this case correctly, provided that the timeout values allow (TransactionTimeout > 3*RequestTimeout) and you're willing to wait long enough. The other two patches are still valid. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.cern.ch/support/?119348> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by LCG Savannah http://savannah.cern.ch/
