Follow-up Comment #4, bug #81761 (project xrootd): After installing /sbin/mount.fuse on my system, defining XROOTDFS_RDRURL=xroot://atlfs03.phy.duke.edu:1094//atlas XROOTDFS_USER=xrootd adding the following line to /etc/fstab - xrootdfs /atlfs03/atlas fuse allow_other,fsname=xrootdfs,max_write=131072,attr_timeout=10,entry_timeout=10 0 0 and running the command : mount -t fuse -va I got the following response - [root@atlhn02 ~]# mount -t fuse -va nothing was mounted [root@atlhn02 ~]# df -h /atlfs03/atlas Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on xrootdfs 55T 1.1T 54T 2% /atlfs03/atlas [root@atlhn02 ~]# grep /atlfs03/atlas /etc/mtab xrootdfs /atlfs03/atlas fuse rw,nosuid,nodev,allow_other 0 0 So the xrootdfs file system mounted though the mount commands said nothing was mounted. ???? _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.cern.ch/bugs/?81761> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by LCG Savannah http://savannah.cern.ch/
