Hi,

I'm trying to run the trunk of xrootd from /opt/xrootd while keeping the
standard installation in /usr/lib64 (GNU/Linux, CentOS-5, x86_64).

I'm setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH correctly (after sudo), but the libs are still
getting pulled in from /usr/lib64 ... so I get:
110524 17:34:00 001 XrootdConfig: /usr/lib64/libXrdSec.so: undefined symbol:
_ZN9XrdNetDNS11getHostNameEPKcPPc opening shared library /usr/lib64/libXrdSec.so

Should setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH be sufficient?

Cheers,
Matevz
