I noticed with 3.0.4 that xrdcp computes a wrong adler checksum
xrdcp -adler root://lxbsu2005.cern.ch//eos/2rep/3cp1 /tmp/bla -f
[xrootd] Total 0.00 MB |====================| 100.00 % [inf MB/s]
adler32: 79bcb091 root://lxbsu2005.cern.ch//eos/2rep/3cp17d7
adler32 /tmp/bla
adler32(/tmp/bla) = 2173939858, 0x8193b092
