Follow-up Comment #6, bug #86870 (project xrootd):
Hi Doug,
The info to syslog targets system administrators so I expect they to
understand stat() and opendir(). Most importantly, the messages singled out
the failed xrootd data server.
It is difficult to provide more precise info back to user since xrootdfs can
only return errno to user application via kernel, nothing else is allowed in
unix.
