Details:

Hi,

Today after reading the man page and documentation for XrdCnsd I tried
using the -k flag for XrdCnsd inside of the xrootd data server configuration
files this line produces a defunct process:

ofs.notify closew create mkdir mv rm rmdir trunc | /usr/bin/XrdCnsd -k
7 -d -D 2 -i 90 -b $(head):1095:$(exportpath)/inventory

If I remove -k 7 switch I get -

xrootd 18055 1.0 0.0 108152 8320 ? Sl 08:35 0:00
/usr/bin/XrdCnsd -d -D 2 -i 90 -b headprv.hep.anl.gov:1095:/atlas/inventory

when I run things from the command line -

[root@wrk1prv ~]# /usr/bin/XrdCnsd -k 7 -d -D 2 -i 90 -b
headprv.hep.anl.gov:1095:/atlas/inventory
XrdCnsd: Invalid option, '-k'.

The source of the error is clear.

Can this be fixed and released soon I am tired of lots of logs on the data
servers.

Thanks,

Doug
