Follow-up Comment #7, bug #88259 (project xrootd):

Hi Doug,

The segv's are all due to this problem (i.e., pthread-create() returning SEGV
as a valid response to a non-existent thread-id). Of course, a core would
verify this. Just use gdb to see where the SEGV occurred. So, this just got
bumped up in priority. I should have a fix soon.
