Follow-up Comment #2, bug #87887 (project xrootd):
When sss=keytabfile is specified in /etc/fstab, xrootdfs will only use sss,
and nothing else. The error indicate that the security negotiation failed.
Are there two NICs involved here? Can you also check that ntp is running ok
and that the keytab files are identical across machines.
On the machines that you can't start xrootdfs, can you set XrdSecDEBUG=1 and
use a simple xrdcp and cut-n-paste the screen log?
