I've attached the output from running it is strace. THis is actually with the
latest version created via;
git clone http://xrootd.cern.ch/repos/xrootd.git
cd xrootd
ls
mkdir build
cd build/
cmake ../
make -j 8
cd src/
strace ./xrdcp -d 3
"root://castorcms//castor/cern.ch/cms/store/caf/user/hauk/data/Mu/Run2010A_Dec22ReReco/apeSkim1.root?svcClass=cmscafuser&stageHost=castorcms"
