URL: <http://savannah.cern.ch/support/?125120> Summary: Monitoring -- Automatic file-close messages on disconnect Project: XROOTD Submitted by: matevz Submitted on: 2011-12-07 00:15 Category: None Priority: 5 - Normal Severity: 3 - Normal Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: None _______________________________________________________ Details: This feature was recently added, however, the disconnect message is the first one sent, with close messages arriving afterwards. Can this order be reversed? The problem is that once I receive the disconnect message I simply loop over the files that are still open and "close" them manually. Therefore, they are gone by the time I get the proper close message (which actually holds some useful info about total number of bytes read/written). Cheers, Matevz _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.cern.ch/support/?125120> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by LCG Savannah http://savannah.cern.ch/ ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the XROOTD-DEV list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=XROOTD-DEV&A=1
