Hi, In Lyon there was some discussion about how interesting it would be to also look at the seek-size statistics between consecutive reads. While this is doable for plain reads and for 'iov' monitoring, I can't see how one could do that with just 'io' There was a suggestion from somebody (maybe Andy, but probably not) that we could get offset of the last-byte of the last reported read. But this a) doesn't seem very meaningful and b) doesn't 'fit' into the readv-io record, either. The only reasonable option seems to be to only enable iov on a sub-set of servers (for a limited period of time) and to collect full statistics there, if somebody really cares that much about that. Any thoughts?
