Hi Lukasz,

Thanks for the reply.  I was just trying to locate where where a problem 
I'm having connecting to a redirector via ROOT lies.  Given that I am 
seeing different behavior depending on the version of the xrd client I 
tried, I though it might be a client backward compatibility issue, but 
for the most part that doesn't appear to be the case.  (The problem seem 
to be in the way ROOT is built.)

I'm still concerned about the odd behavior of the xrd client, but I'll 
put that in a new thread to the list.
