Indeed there was a problem with cmsd which I managed to solve. Now I have a
problem while I try to open a file using the root protocol. If I copy a file
accessing a local file it works fine:
[[log in to unmask]]#/software/at3/root/root-5.30.04_slc57_gcc4.1.2-51_x86-64_PROOF/bin/xrdcp
root://tditaller025.pic.es//tmp/hola /tmp/asd.$RANDOM
[xrootd] Total 0.00 MB |====================| 100.00 % [inf MB/s]
Instead if I try to copy a file using the root protocol, for example:
xrdcp
root://tditaller025.pic.es//pnfs-disk/pic.es/at3/test/DATA_00152508_physics_MinBias_f241_m433_FLIPA-03-02-00.root
/tmp/asd.$RANDOM
I get input/output errors on the log files:

I think there is an option which adds a prefix to the file so it can use the
root protocol to copy. I have this option which I think I should handle this,
but it is not working:
mps.mssdir root://xrootd-disk.pic.es/
