Follow-up Comment #1, bug #91141 (project xrootd):
I was not able to reproduce this problem. The nature of the problem may be
due to how checkums were configured and whether this was a data server or a
redirector. In a normal data server, asking for a checksum for a non-existent
file produces, the arguably confusing and incorrect, error of "cancelled by
admin". I can look to see whether the actual reason can be percolated back
but before I do I'd like to know under what the conditions and configuration
was this particular problem uncovered.
