Hi, I'm starting to verify that all is in place for doing data reconstruction at JLAB and concerning this I have some questions: 1) Typically one does production from a production account instead of regular user accounts. What is the mechanism for getting such an account established or is it done differently at JLAB? 2) It appears that our standard way of installing lcsim doesn't work at JLAB ... at least not from my account: jlabl1.jlab.org> cvs -d :pserver:[log in to unmask]:/cvs/lcd co lcsim-parent cvs [checkout aborted]: connect to [cvs.freehep.org]:2401 failed: Connection refused jlabl1.jlab.org> cvs -d [log in to unmask]:/cvs/lcd co lcsim-parentcvs.freehep.org: Connection refused cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any) jlabl1.jlab.org> What is the correct way of doing the "cvs co" at jlab? 3) Is maven (mvn) installed centrally? jlabl1.jlab.org> which mvn mvn: Command not found. 4) Where can I find information about the batch system and how to use it? 5) Are there specific HallB login scripts? Cheers, Homer ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the HPS-SOFTWARE list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=HPS-SOFTWARE&A=1
