Homer,

1) HPS production account is established, user name "clashps" (sorry
CC associates everything in hall B to CLAS detector)
2) you should work on interactive farm machines, like "ifarml64". jlabl*
machines are not setup for scientific computing
4) information on the scientific computing can be found from cc.jlab.org
(left column) at -
https://wiki.jlab.org/cc/external/wiki/index.php/Scientific_Computing
5) there is a hps run group that has all the production rights, please 
check
with FX. He should be able to get your sshkey into clashps account.
