Follow-up Comment #16, bug #92620 (project xrootd):

Thanks so much Wilko,
If I do a local copy in the server using dccp it works fine:

#/opt/d-cache/dcap/bin/dccp
/pnfs-disk/pic.es/at3/test/DATA_00152508_physics_MinBias_f241_m433_FLIPA-03-02-00.root
/dev/null818099466 bytes in 8 seconds (99865.66 KB/sec)

So, I was assuming that using the options:

all.export /pnfs-disk stage
frm.xfr.copycmd /opt/d-cache/dcap/bin/dccp $SRC $DST 

will make a xrdcp work like this one:

xrdcp 
root://tditaller025.pic.es//pnfs-disk/pic.es/at3/test/DATA_00152508_physics_MinBias_f241_m433_FLIPA-03-02-00.root
 /tmp/asd.$RANDOM

But unfortunately it does not. I get the error:
