Follow-up Comment #1, bug #93069 (project xrootd):
In fact, I'd like to see it pushed all the way down to OSS layer, especially
for our Hadoop integration (Hadoop has a decent penalty for random reads, and
I'd prefer to coalesce the vector more than we do currently).
