Follow-up Comment #8, bug #92101 (project xrootd):
Hi,
There are several error going on.
Initially 3 of machines had stale xrdcp commands. Two did not.
The two that did not had much lower failure rates.
After ensuring that all machines had the same version of the software. I
repeated the copy test. All 5 nodes had two files with copy errors. (10
errors out of 249 files).
I repeated the copy again and found two xrdcp that have hung.
the lsof file, core files and log files new-stage..sh.*
can be found at this URL:

The copy command is:
attempt # 1 /usr/bin/xrdcp -x -f -np -v
