Follow-up Comment #1:
Currently, I don't know of anyone using MacOS as an xrootd platform in a
serious way. Yes, it should be supported but MacOs uses yet another
sendfile() variant. So, this is not just an issue of changing a define
symbol. Let's just put in on the end of the queue.
