Follow-up Comment #20, bug #91844 (project xrootd): Hi Andy, i found the problem I had to set XrdCnsd with alicepc100.jinr.ru:1095 option /cern/PEAC/sw/gentoo-x86_64-4.6.2/VO_PEAC/Xrootd/3.2.0-rc1/bin/XrdCnsd alicepc100.jinr.ru:1095 In doc it is writen 3. If you choose a non-standard port number (i.e., something other than 1095) in step 1, then you must tell the XrdCnsd the port number that you chose so that it can contact the new instance of the xrootd running on redirector. And it was using 1094. PS: also in documentation should be fixed line, if i am right XrdCnsd –R –p 1095 redir to XrdCnsd –R <local-dir> –p 1095 redir Ciao Martin _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.cern.ch/bugs/?91844> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by LCG Savannah http://savannah.cern.ch/ ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the XROOTD-DEV list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=XROOTD-DEV&A=1
