Hi Brian,
I have had a look with Elvin. xrdcp works fine. It looks like the problem
is in the handshake. While opening, the TXNetFile somehow gets confused into
thinking that it talks to a rootd server and falls back to TNetFile. Have
you, by any chance, tested the 3.2.0-rc1 with ROOT?
