Follow-up Comment #2, bug #93876 (project xrootd): Thanks for the information. When I remove sss directive from xrootdfs mount and comment out the security directive in the data server. I am able to become the user through su command and create the directory. Here is the relevant section of the data server xrootd log - 120420 03:58:53 31305 acc_Audit: xrootd.26325:27@atl008 grant unix [log in to unmask] stat /atlas/local/goshaw 120420 03:58:53 31305 ofs_stat: xrootd.26325:27@atl008 Unable to locate /atlas/local/goshaw; No such file or directory 120420 03:58:53 31305 acc_Audit: xrootd.26325:27@atl008 grant unix [log in to unmask] mkdir /atlas/local/goshaw 120420 03:58:53 31305 acc_Audit: xrootd.26325:27@atl008 grant unix [log in to unmask] stat /atlas/local/goshaw _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.cern.ch/bugs/?93876> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by LCG Savannah http://savannah.cern.ch/ ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the XROOTD-DEV list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=XROOTD-DEV&A=1
