Follow-up Comment #3, bug #93876 (project xrootd): Hi Doug, your observation after removing 'sss' isn't contradict to Andy's explanation. After 'sss' is removed, xrootdfs pass user id 'xrootd' to xrootd servers (regardless of whether you do 'su' or not).
