Hello,

I've made a release of hps-java and its dependencies in order to have a stable point of reference, in terms of dependency versions for reconstruction and analysis of Test Run data.

The tagged versions of all the jars in this release were as follows....

lcsim-parent 1.16
lcsim-conditions 1.5
GeomConverter 1.19
lcsim 1.23
jevio-base 4.1
hps-et-java 12.1
hps-detectors 1.1
hps-java 1.1

Everything went rather smoothly, so the next development versions for all these projects are on the next minor version number. For instance, org.lcsim is now on the 1.24-SNAPSHOT version, etc.

The hps-java project is not frozen now by any means. The current version has been changed to 1.2-SNAPSHOT. However, it now depends on the above set of static dependencies. If you put in some changes to one of its dependencies that hps-java needs to see, such as lcsim or GeomConverter, then go ahead and bump that dependency to the next snapshot version in hps-java's POM. Otherwise, we'll stay with these releases until that happens. If you don't understand how that's supposed to work, please send an email to me ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) and/or this list with any questions.

NOTE: The scripts in hps-java/scripts will not work properly with this release, as they had wrong, hard-coded jar versions in them. To use the scripts, you can work from the hps-java CVS head.
