It can be found online at: http://www.nybooks.com/articles/archives/2012/may/10/crisis-big-science/ On a related note, the Senate Energy and Water Appropriations Subcommittee approved its FY2013 Funding Bill this week. The DOE Office of Science is to receive $4.909B, which is $35M above FY2012. This, of course, needs to be resolved with the House Bill, which provided $4.8B. Both funding levels are below the President's request for $4.992B.
